Pinklette is a 13 month old pure white Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire mix pup rescued from the Pasadena Humane Society. She is adorable in every way. Pinklette named for her pink, nose, ears and muzzle, is great with other dogs and with kids. She is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed. Interested parties should contact Mary Chatman at 323 758 8992 or email maryslittlelambs@ca.rr.com
Spiral is nine months old. He is just a PUPPY! He is at the North Central Shelter in LA and his ID number is A900779. He has lived most of his life at the shelter, having been there for over 3 months. He is a BEAUTIFUL boy – stunningly so!
I have had him out of his kennel and he’s good natured, sweet, and loving. North Central Shelter is just too full. They are way over capacity due to a dozen evidence dogs that were brought in a short time ago and will sit at the shelter for months – taking up many desperately needed kennels. So as a result a young puppy like Spiral has to be red-listed and scheduled to die.
It’s tragic to say the least. I just have to find a miracle for this sweet boy. He hasn’t even had a chance to live life – to experience happiness, love, and devotion. He is very adoptable – a great dog! I don’t know how he does with other dogs. He does get very excited and he barks (as do most of the shelter dogs) when dogs walk by. But it’s too hard to gauge something like this in a shelter environment. But I do know that I have seen him interact WONDERFULLY with adults and children.
Can you help Spiral? Can you adopt Spiral and give him the loving forever home he so desperately needs? Can you rescue Spiral and keep him safe while you continue to look for his forever home? Can you Donate funds so that we can board Spiral and keep him safe while we look for his forever home? Can you spread the word far and wide and try to find a miracle for Spiral? Anyone who can help in any way can contact me by email (julianne1030@peoplepc.com) or by phone: 323-718-1648. Thank you for your compassion and kindness!!
North Central, is way overcrowded due to the holidays and a dozen evidence dogs that were taken in a short time ago. There is NO space left and as a result very adoptable dogs are being red-listed and euthanized. If any of you are planning on pulling shelter dogs in the near future, I’d be forever grateful if you’d consider helping one or two of the wonderful dogs at NC. Here is a link to the available dogs. If you would like more information on any of them, you can contact the New Hope Coordinator, Anna Hernandez at 213-485-5767 or call me at 323-718-1648. If we can lower the numbers a bit in the next day or two it will buy everyone a bit more time and precious lives will not be needlessly lost. Please do consider pulling a dog from NC:
If you have not yet made a year end contribution - now is a great time. All dogs featured on the greeting card are Bumper alumnae and are now living life large in the comfort of their new forever homes thanks to you.
